Annnnd Mercury has stationed! Thank the celestial powers that be! Don't assume it means full speed ahead. That's not the case. Let's discuss the post-retrograde shadow, which lasts around two weeks.

Whenever a planet goes direct following a retrograde, it signals a time to integrate the internal changes by manifesting them in our external world. Mercury has currently paused and appears motionless from our viewpoint. Over the coming days, it will resume its forward motion, albeit at a reduced speed than normal.

Mercury's change in motion signals a time to act based on the shifts in our perceptions, mindset, and thought processes that occurred during the retrograde. In the following weeks, the emergence of new information/downloads are expected, which will aid us in making more informed choices.

Mercury is currently transitioning into the post-shadow phase of its retrograde cycle. This phase is the last transit of the planet through the zodiac region it previously retrograded in, signifying a time for integration and adjustment. Specifically, Mercury will transit between 15º58' and 27º13' of Aries, with the post-shadow phase concluding on May 13.

At this time, we are encouraged to gradually progress in aspects of our lives that were hindered by Mercury's retrograde, incorporating new information and making decisions with a fresh perspective. Sedna is a dwarf planet known as the "Goddess of the Sea" or the "Asteroid of Abandonment". She assists in an introspective process that helps us to identify our greatest fear. Symbolizing abandonment issues, she can help you face the truth of yourself sans excuses.

Sedna's name originates from Inuit mythology because it is the coldest, most distant place known in our solar system. According to Inuit mythology, Sedna, Goddess of the Sea and Mistress of Marine Life, is thought to live at the bottom of the Arctic Ocean, one of the coldest and most unexplored areas on our planet.

She takes approximately 11,390 years to orbit the Sun. However, because her orbit is elliptical, the time spent in each sign differs.

Sedna is a prime example of spiritual evolution born from traumatic events such as betrayal, treachery, or abandonment that produced mental and emotional stress.

According to humanistic astrologer Alan Clay, "When a new solar system body is discovered, clues to the astrological meaning can be found by looking at a range of factors. But primarily, meaning comes from studying the planet in a large number of charts to find common themes.

With the Moon in its detriment, it will assume the coloring of Capricorn, who is ambitious, cautious, and responsible; however, can be impersonal, so we need to take care not to alienate others with a cold shoulder.

Healers from all corners of the earth believe in the incredible healing quality of the morning dew. They believe that it possesses the same healing properties as the planets themselves, with the dew capturing their essence in clear potency. Venus

Retentive and steadfast, they rarely scatter their forces. They prefer to assume responsibilities seriously and practically. They do enjoy gracious living and have an inner drive to build a firm foundation, often based on financial security.

Headstrong, they are slow to anger, but when they do get angry, they become furious. That doesn't prevent them from being sympathetic and understanding. They are a faithful friend but an implacable enemy.

Venus in Taurus

Expect something magical and mythical.

Taurus has always represented strength and sexuality, and his relationship with Venus, the Goddess of Love, dates back to when Jupiter ( Zeus to the Romans ) was the supreme God of ancient Greece.

Venus presented herself incognito to Princess Europa, daughter of the King of Phoenicia, saying, "I shall bring you to Jupiter, for destiny has appointed you his beloved."

Knowing Europa would fear him in his true form, Jupiter disguised himself as a magnificent white bull with jeweled horns and a silver crescent moon upon his forehead in hopes of seducing her.

Europa was enthralled by Jupiter and was enticed to climb upon his back in adoration. He immediately took her to the Island of Crete, where he revealed his true self and declared his love for her. Under the boughs of an old tree, they soon became lovers.

Europa bore Jupiter three children, and Jupiter took the image of the Bull and placed it in the heavens to become the constellation Taurus, where its ruling planet is Venus.

In addition to the above, Taurus is also the sign of property and money. These natives give high regard to collecting possessions and are known to stubbornly hold onto what is theirs. Many Taurian's have beautiful speaking and singing voices; however, they do have a tendency to find themselves in unsavory situations regarding love and money.

Venus rules our ability to enjoy affection and beauty. She is also the planet that lends sensuality but doesn't represent long-lasting love. While some astrologers refer to her for love advice, I recommend studying the placement of Juno for long-term relationships. While Venus may give us what we want, Juno provides direction toward what we actually need.

Just as Taurus, Venus has a dark side surrounding vanity and more importance on luxury and pleasure than discipline. Strong narcissism also appears if a chart's Venus is afflicted* ( when the negative aspects are prominent ).

These two together typically shine, are completely at home in one another and at ease to be themselves.
