Desire To Blossom
Black chaotic bark.
Witness dawn's vanishing dark.
Possibility.

Be Positive In Your Universal Movements
Do you carry the interpretations of being a good influencer of the mind, or forsaken the brethren of mankind for the comforts of false riches
The power of self to sustain borrowed time in the province we call life resides in the heart, mind, and soul from past lives you may have upon evolution’s wishes
By the blood of the lamb, you have choices who you are, who will you become, and how you chose to live
Evil, wickedness, to appease the masses ...

Sunshiny Day
easy sorrow, today is a beautiful day
I understand your desire to paint things melancholy
but today I'm going to kiss the sky
and give reverence to the beauty I see
the garden flowers worship the sun
and the weeds too
the moist earth giving birth to seedlings
the trees so solemn
history is contained in their branches
they whisper quietly among themselves
hush now they may be telling you a secret
the dandelions a delight decorating the grass
everything in a symbiotic relationship with one another

forests
each tree
proudly
as individuals,
each detailed
within
their own
manners,
each mind
firm,
the place
you remember,
but their
acceptance
to be
something
more combined
like a
community.

The First Day Of Fall
I welcome you, Fall
A much anticipated change
From color to color
Not as crisp nor
Quite as cold
As I would prefer
But greeted happily
In this little southern
Fishing town where
The river often smells putrid
And the pumpkins sprout
In time for when
The annual fall festivals begin
A much anticipated change
From color to color
Not as crisp nor
Quite as cold
As I would prefer
But greeted happily
In this little southern
Fishing town where
The river often smells putrid
And the pumpkins sprout
In time for when
The annual fall festivals begin

i.
each word you spit
instead of convey
sits heavy as a grave
on your shoulders
we can’t carry the whole world
in our arms, especially
across barbwire beliefs
and minefields of thought
whispering ‘enemy’
it’s time for a proper burial
if we can reach the river
and lay it all down
without giving in
and killing one another first

i once wanted to build a poem
resembling a tree house
made of light and truth

Talking Tree From Boston
Tribute:
The essence of me
Wrapped inside a fluffy tree
That’s where you’ll find me

Autumn's Seamstress - with deliabear
Ratcheting the ornately beautiful wickets.
Inevitable is autumn's spell.
With ornamental mascara woods
The seamstress of nature roams the forest,
Within her étui boutique sewing basket.
To mend the bark of broken dreams.
Newly quilted trees in color-scattered fields.
Adorned in scarlet gowns of autumn leaves.
Into our hearts, the season is weaved.
Inevitable is autumn's spell.

The seamstress of nature roams the forest,
Within her étui boutique sewing basket.
To mend the bark of broken dreams.
Newly quilted trees in color-scattered fields.
Adorned in scarlet gowns of autumn leaves.

The Integrity of Cottonwood Trees
like tattered ashes
of scorched bark
you send out seeds
sacrificially
dancing on the whim
of labored wind
drifting through
my line of vision
now entranced
by your soot spirits
serendipitously
sent to guide me
i do not question
your intentions
breathing life
into broken wings
of scorched bark
you send out seeds
sacrificially
dancing on the whim
of labored wind
drifting through
my line of vision
now entranced
by your soot spirits
serendipitously
sent to guide me
i do not question
your intentions
breathing life
into broken wings

Hymn to Trees
Black boots leave a bus
as I watch it trundle off
into English dust
I pass through a kissing gate
walk past the orchard full
of Beltane blossom
up a dirt track towards
a meadow full of buttercups
and red clover.
There she stands
Bella, my oak tree
on her own in the midst
of a lone field
she who stands with ribbons
tied into her spindles
markers of every prayer
every thought
every wish ever uttered.
I sit here sometimes
crouching to reach a crawl-space...
as I watch it trundle off
into English dust
I pass through a kissing gate
walk past the orchard full
of Beltane blossom
up a dirt track towards
a meadow full of buttercups
and red clover.
There she stands
Bella, my oak tree
on her own in the midst

every thought
every wish ever uttered.

House of Anne
All votive in the moonlit breeze
Were Anne's Queen blooms of lace
As bright as stars above the trees
But rooted in their proper place
Where royal court was kept with mint,
And evening primrose, in the beams
That steep summer flora in the tint
Of heaven's wine and honey dreams!
Rosemary was the center piece
For hawthorn and the ancient plum,
And sage, glowing like Argonaut fleece,
Or Neptune's brand of Elysian rum!
Queen Anne would have it no other way,...
